Rachel Watson longs for a different life.
Her only escape is the perfect couple she watches through the train window every day, happy and in love. Or so it appears. When Rachel learns that the woman she’s been secretly watching has suddenly disappeared, she finds herself as a witness and even a suspect in a thrilling mystery in which she will face bigger revelations than she could ever have anticipated.
Adapted from Paula Hawkins’ novel – an international phenomenon selling over twenty million copies worldwide – and starring Samantha Womack, this gripping new play will keep you guessing until the final moment.
Samantha Womack has starred extensively in television, film and theatre. She is best known for playing Ronnie Mitchell in BBC1’s EastEnders with leading roles in Mount Pleasant and Game On, and the hit films, The Kingsman series.

Wonderful adaptation - Samantha Womack was perfect in the rôle.
They did a very good portrayal of the book. Kept it true to the story. It was funny in places which was nice. Samantha coped well and seamlessly with a couple of prop mishaps. I recommend it
Excellent production. First time at this theatre, we will be back .
Excellent production thoroughly enjoyed it
Thoroughly enjoyable and gripping production.
Amazing show and good seats for the price we paid
This was the best theatre play I have ever been too! I loved it so much!
Excellent show and performance by all actors and actresses! Very enjoyable would definitely recommend to see!
the sound could have been better, struggled to hear some of the dialogue.
I enjoyed
Very good with a dramatic ending
An interesting adaptation of the book but my mother and I had difficulty hearing all the dialogue, particularly in the first half. The sound production was better in the second half. Overall, I felt it was a lack-lustre performance from the leading lady. I loved the book but this sadly didn’t live up to my expectations.

She longs for another existence – anything to escape the cold reality of a broken marriage and a dingy apartment orbited by satellites of alcohol. Until, finally, her daily ‘commute’ delivers her the ideal couple, standing on their pristine balcony in a globe of impeccable taste and perfect choices...
